In short: Chordora collects no personal data. The app has no account, no sign-in and no analytics. It sends nothing to us or to anyone else.

Everything you create in Chordora — lyrics, chords, setlists, photos, settings — is stored locally on your device only. We have no access to it. There is no server anything is transferred to.
The app can photograph sheets and take images from your library. You grant permission the first time. The images stay on the device and become part of your song. We never see them.
Chordora Unlimited is handled entirely by the App Store. Apple gives us neither your name nor your payment details. The app merely asks the system whether the purchase exists.
Because everything is local, backup depends on your device: an iCloud or computer backup of your
iPhone includes Chordora. If the app is deleted the data is gone — we cannot restore it. Important
songs can be exported as a .chopro file or as a PDF.
The site is served statically from an Amazon S3 bucket. There are no cookies, no tracking and no embedded third-party services. The host necessarily logs requests including the IP address; we do not use these logs for analysis and do not combine them with other data. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection under the GDPR. As we hold no personal data about you, these rights have little to bite on with us — do get in touch all the same. Complaints can be addressed to the Austrian Data Protection Authority.
