These terms cover the use of the Chordora app by BG BizGames GmbH, Reitweg 5, 8055 Graz, Austria. Obtaining the app and any in-app purchases is additionally governed by the terms of the respective app store.
You receive a simple, non-transferable right to use Chordora on the devices assigned to you, for private and professional purposes. Reselling, renting out or reverse-engineering the app is not permitted unless the law expressly allows it.
Chordora is free to use and holds ten songs, including the demo songs it ships with. The one-time in-app purchase Chordora Unlimited, priced at €2.99, removes that limit. The purchase is not a subscription and does not expire. Content you have already created stays and remains usable regardless of the purchase.
Lyrics, chords and photos you create in Chordora remain yours — in the legal sense too. They never leave your device. You are responsible for holding the necessary rights to whatever you capture, paste or pass on. This applies in particular to lyrics: they are as a rule protected by copyright, and passing them on — as a PDF to band members, say — may require permission.
The examples shipped with the app are in the public domain: traditional songs, plus one work whose author died long past the term of protection.
Chordora is developed with care but may contain errors. Statutory warranty rights are unaffected. We are not liable for damage caused by slight negligence, except for personal injury or where mandatory law provides otherwise. In particular, the app is no substitute for your own backup.
We may develop the app further and change or discontinue individual features. Material changes to these terms will be announced on this page.
Austrian law applies, excluding its conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence remain unaffected.
